So, recently I was able to attend MCM Comic Con Manchester 2019. I took some photos and a great time meeting people. I couldn’t stay for long because of the weather and because I was with my nephew and niece so, I had to leave early. Anyways, here are some of the pics I took.
For those who didn’t know, I was away for the weekend for MCM Comic Con London for October 2018. I was fun. I met a lot of cosplayers, filmed by vlog and just enjoyed the nice quite time away from the troubles of my life and in an environment where I was surrounded by like-minded people who shared the same love for movies, videogames, comics and manga as me.
This was the first time, ever since I have been attending Comic Cons that I cosplayed for two days. Since, it was a three day event, I was able to squeeze two days of cosplay and one day for filming. On the Friday, I was dressed as ‘Bloodsplatter Mafiaso Deadpool’ and on the Sunday, I was dressed as ‘Mafiaso Deadpool in Black’. I took some photos as well which you can see below.
The last two times that I went to MCM Comic Con London, I used the trains because they were quick and the travel did not take a lot out of me. It was one Virgin Train from Manchester to London and back. There were no train switches, no hassle – just a straight non-stop journey from one end to another but recently, I have had some financial issues and instead of using a train, I decided to take a coach.
The two and a half hour journey on a train took me six hours to get into London. That does not even include the extra travel after that. I had to go from the coach station to the train station, navigate the complicated underground trains and tubes while making sure I catch the right one and then walk up to the house where I was supposed to stay. The entire journey took me about seven hours. I left from Manchester at 5:30 in the morning and checked in my Airbnb at around 12:30 noon.
The travel by coach was smooth and there were no issues there but because the journey took so long, I was beat by the time I got there.
It was worth it as you can see it in my vlog below.
On the Monday when I checked out, I did not reach my home till 22:00 and all I needed by then was my warm bed and some good night’s sleep.
But unfortunately, everything that has a beginning has an end and now I am back to the battle station and ready to resume my battles as usual. There are more videos I need to make. I wrote the script for one video before I left. I need to record the voiceover for it and work my magic in Shotcut to get it out on YouTube.
There are a couple of more videos that I am planning but they will take some time and I do not want to rush in.
I just wanted to share with you what I have been through recently and just wanted to let you know that I need be back to my rant videos real soon.
Peace out, people and stay awesome.
How’s it going, people? Now, I know I am super late with this blog post because I have been super busy with some personal stuff in life but I am here and just wanted to share this little post with all the lovely people on the net.
Well, I was off from my full-time workplace from week commencing the 21st of May and on that weekend, I went to MCM Comic Con London. Needless to say, I had an amazing time there. It was a three day experience filled with cosplay, masquerade and merchandise.
MCM Comic Con Friday
The first day, I cosplayed as Mafiaso Deadpool and even made it in the papers. I couldn’t see properly but it was nice to meet other Deadpool fans and cosplayers.

The second day, it was business as usual and I went around taking photos and filming other cosplayers.
The vlog is up for MCM Comic Con 2018 if you want to see the cosplayers in action and all the other highlights from the floor.
